Under the name Saada (Moroccan for 'happiness'), the 42-year-old Kaaouass – known to everyone as Aziz – has been running a grocery store in the Bommel city centre for 21 years. With a speciality being the Aziz olives that customers travel from far and wide to buy – Bommelerwaard, Rosmalen, Den Bosch, Vught, Boxtel, Woudrichem. He marinates them himself: "Cutting fresh herbs – coriander in particular is important – adding oils and combining them until you think 'wow, this is delicious'"
