'At Keramiekstudio Gewoon Klei I make handmade ceramics, both wheel-thrown and hand-built. My collection consists of tableware, vases, wall objects, urns and memorial objects. I love clean shapes and enjoy working with patterns. In addition, I give workshops and courses in ceramics from my ceramic studio in Hedel.
During the Hanseatic Days, a selection of my work can be seen and purchased at Markt Twee in Zaltbommel.
On Sunday 5 and 12 July from 13.00 to 17.00 I will be giving a live pottery throwing demonstration. Visitors can see up close how I work at the wheel and I am happy to tell them more about throwing, materials and techniques. There is of course also room to ask questions.
In addition to commissions from clients and making my own work, I give workshops and courses where you discover in a relaxed atmosphere how enjoyable and calming working with clay is.
