Pottery in the pot house

'At Ceramics Studio Gewoon Klei I make handmade ceramics, both wheel-thrown and hand-built. My collection consists of tableware, vases, wall objects, urns and memorial objects. I love clean shapes and enjoy working with patterns. I also give workshops and courses in ceramics from my ceramics studio in Hedel.

From 20 June to 12 July a selection of my work can be seen and purchased at Markt Twee in Zaltbommel.

On Sunday 5 and 12 July from 13:00 to 17:00 I will give a live pottery throwing demonstration. Visitors can watch up close as I work at the wheel and I am happy to tell them more about throwing, materials and techniques. There is of course also room to ask questions.

In addition to commissions from clients and creating my own work, I give workshops and courses where you discover in a relaxed atmosphere how enjoyable and calming working with clay is. Would you like to experience for yourself what it is like to sit at a pottery wheel or to create something unique with your hands? Feel free to get in touch to discuss the possibilities'.
