The Renaissance facade at Waterstraat 26 is one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Zaltbommel. The facade dates from the sixteenth or seventeenth century and shows the influence of the Italian Renaissance on Dutch architecture. The rich ornamentation and the symmetrical structure bear witness to the prosperity of the former occupant. The facade is a gem in the historic cityscape of the Hanseatic city.
